leftovers

Now that it’s September, my birthday season is almost over….except for the leftovers.

Though I specificallly requested NO GIFTS ,  everyone seemed to think along similar lines—-with very high expectations of my capacity.

I’m starting my celebrations today for the actual birthday being the 9th. I have loved hearing about your entire season. I am all for celebrating LIFE! Keep enjoying every moment.
    Much love,
    Janet

    Wait a minute…
You’re able to have this stuff around the house?? Chocolate and toffee…
    I am so impressed.

Janet: Thank you! Love your attitude, enjoy all your celebrating and Happy birthday to YOU!

Maureen: Nah, don’t be impressed. Even though cyberspace, you must know me well enough to know I can’t have chocolate around the house either. I took the pictures days ago–by now the boxes contain mostly brown paper wrappers. Although even for me, getting through all this chocolate is a BIG project.

Me too—and the best part is one picture is worth a thousand bites.

You should have forewarned the diabetics in your fan club of the potential health risk in this posting. (Glad I’m not one; I share your fondness for the dark stuff. As Will Rogers might have said, “I never met a piece of chocolate I didn’t like.”)

I might have finally OD’d. Right now I can’t even look at the pictures.
