I’m officially re-gifting it–feel free to scrape it off.
I’m sure it’s a cruel hoax —George is way cooler than this card. Just looking at him I’m already starting to weaken about dumping him…. and I haven’t even seen “Up in the Air” yet.

I am very certain that card was just for you, Darryle. He is sooo jealous of Alec Baldwin and his replacement in your affections.

Since you are teetering between the two men, after you see “Up in the Air”, you’ll be back in George’s camp for sure. What a performance, what a man. But Alec Baldwin is pretty fabulous, too. I am thinking that maybe you could get the two of them fighting it out over you, just like in the old days. A joust or a duel maybe!
What a holiday gift that would be.

One of the worst things about living in a small town is waiting for movies to get here. Can’t wait to see “Up in the Air”–but I might only go back to George temporarily, until I see Alec in ‘It’s Complicated.”

PS Amy Ferris, who wrote the book “Marrying George Clooney” (which I LOVED) commented on my post about George and Alec—and she suggested putting them in a room together—to help fix some of the world’s problems, unfortunately, not for MY benefit.

You go with George; I’m keeping Alec.
