a thing of beauty is a joy forever

The other day I was at Jane’s house  and it’s never looked more gorgeous.

img_6473Who needs Martha Stewart?  Jane has a magic touch and everything around her is blooming and beautiful.

Roses are everywhere inside and out.

img_6488I can’t grow anything.  I’m pretty sure there are plants that could  keel over dead the minute I look at them.

Just in case, I didn’t linger too long in her garden. img_6486

Besides, a rose is a rose is a rose.

Anyone can appreciate their beauty.

But not everyone would appreciate –or notice—something else in Jane’s kitchen that caught my eye.

It’s back.

And as they say, true beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I had to share them—although I would NOT have shared the chocolate!

How can Jane live with that gorgeous collection of chocolate? I would eat my self silly several times per day.

Me too. That’s why I posted this–surrounding yourself with beauty is nourishing—surrounding yourself with chocolate is dangerous.
Besides that, my chocolate is camouflaged. At Jane’s even the chocolate is presented beautifully.

Oh my God, gorgeous. I love flowers and candy, but need to hide the candy.

Thank you for sharing Jane’s beautiful roses. From one rose fan to another, there are nothing quite like roses, inside or outside, pure beauty and joy. Jane is thoroughly enjoying her bountiful garden and so have we…and at the end of that rainbow, chocolate…WOW.

Those roses are so gorgeous—I defy anyone to look at those pictures and not have instant mood elevation.
