…..is something I haven’t mentioned….maybe because I don’t really want to think about it.
It’s one of those times when you get what you wish for.
I’ve always encouraged my kids to experience everything they could. Who knew they would take me seriously?
Daniel’s home for a week—-but it’s just a pit stop before a semester abroad. 5 months in Buenos Aires.
There’s a lot to get done in the next few days. Of course Daniel’s doing everything—all the planning, preparation, packing.
All that’s left for me to do is worry.
I’m on it.

Hi Darryle,
I know what you mean! Last weekend all three of my kids went on a road trip together. .with no itinerary. A mother’s nightmare!

OMG the lack of itinerary I could handle. It’s 3 of them in a car at the same time that would make me worry most. Oy I’m such a Jewish mother. LOL
My daughter spent 18 months in rural Uganda on the border of the DRC and Rwanda. And then to cap it off they had an outbreak of Ebola.
Before she went I was really worried that she might get posted to South America and get kidnapped.
But really, I think Buenos Aires is safe, especially at University. Just don’t tell him about the Peace Corps.
Living abroad by far was one of the greatest influences on my life. What an amazing opportunity for Daniel (and for you if you plan to visit). Wish him a “buen viaje” from me!
At least he’s not married and pretending to hike the Appalachian Trail!
You’re a brave woman. The Ebola outbreak would have done me in.
You’re lucky, and so is DAniel. I think he chose well–he can’t wait to go. I’ve never been there, definitely plan to visit this spring.
Ha, I thought about that ARgentine connection, too.
me too! even my non-jewish friend said “oy” on the three of them in the car! the good news is that they are back.
daniel will be fine.

The last thing you need is an argentinian daughter in law. God forbid
Hey Manny, do you know something I don’t know?? LOL
