There are mornings when I look in the mirror—and think I must have aged 30 20 10 years overnight.
Fortunately it doesn’t happen often—- maybe once a year a month a week a day.
When it does happen, it dawns on me that the time ahead is less than the time behind.
Which would mean there’s not enough time to do everything I want/plan/expect/dream/hope to do.
This last time, a question immediately came to me.
Fortunately so did the answer.
And I saw the future in 5 words:
Question: What now?
Answer: NOW is what.
Disclaimer: The five words above are mine— but they only work when I’m in a certain mood. For a different and far more honest spin on aging, expressed in more than five–and much stronger— words, read this post by Carrie Fisher.
